Green/Sustainable Features of the EcoLodge
*Passive solar attributes include a shading system that reduces heat gain in the summer
*Gray water irrigation system diverts water from shower and sinks to holding tank that is filtered and used to water exterior landscape
*Use a minimum of 76% recycled steel
*Solar radiant heating, all three floors
*Solar generated electricity from two photovoltaic panels that track the movement of the sun
*Green house to supply fresh food, powered by solar and grey water irrigation
*Internal/central humidifier: three story water wall that will slowly trickle fresh water down a porous glass surface to humidify dry desert air
